Advent is about the Divine coming close to ordinary through Jesus. Our God became an earthly, “in-the-flesh” human extension of heavenly love. For the Sake of the City wants to celebrate the ways God’s love is made known in very ordinary ways – our everyday lives.

Featuring live music by local artists, local marketplace vendors, local nonprofit organizations, children’s activities, and an interactive art exhibit, Christmas together will communicate what is beautiful and true and unchanging in forms accessible to people today.
